Our office keeps on hand a supply of over the counter medications and first aid supplies commonly used for self-care. There is no fee for students to be seen in our office or for self-care supplies. We also respond to emergencies and other urgent needs.
We coordinate claims processing for student health insurance and are available to assist students with any insurance related questions or difficulties and application for financial assistance of unpaid bills.
Your medical history form is maintained in a personalized file in our office and retained for seven years after you leave MVNU. You may request information from this form by contacting our office.

October Tips
Know the priority dates for filing the FAFSA at the colleges you're applying to. Listed in Classroom, under FAFSA topic. Submit your completed FAFSA after Oct. 1
Talk to admission counselors at the colleges you're applying to and find out whether retaking the ACT® or SAT® would be advantageous.
Begin submitting your admission applications to the colleges you're most interested in. Be aware of deadlines!
Try to have your applications submitted by Nov. 1. If not, use Virginia College Application week (Nov 16-20). Completed applications to certain colleges will share waiver codes.
Apply to scholarships you qualify for, as many as you can handle. If you don't know where to begin, email Ms. Orr and be on the lookout for Scholarship Meetups.
Graduation Date
The MVHS Graduation date and location have not been finalized by FCPS. The final date will be scheduled between June 4th and June 9th, 2021.
